His experience includes playing with many top national acts, such as The Delphonics, The Persuaders, Soul Generation, McFadden & Whitehead, Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes, Blues legend Keisa Brown, Anthony Krizan and Bernie Worrell, as well as top local bands Funky Business, Chameleon, The Nick Clemons Band and the Mike Dalton Band. Steve has played in many of the Tri-State's best clubs and bars, as well as top venues such as The Beacon Theater, Giants Stadium, The Orpheum Theater, PNC Arts Center, The Loewes Theater and The Beacon Theater.

In addition to playing Funk, Rock and Jazz, Steve has released his own solo CD, "If And When" and continues to pursue his solo career.

He has extensive recording experience, doing various projects with artists like Anthony Krizan, Eryn Shewell, and Karl Dietel, to name a few.

Currently he plays and sings with Brian Kirk & The Jirks, a top Jersey Shore cover band, at many of the best clubs in the Tri-State. In addition to clubs and 50+ weddings a year, he also plays many solo acoustic shows.

Steve is an experienced and respected teacher, and for 11 years has been teaching studens of all levels at Dave Phillips Music & Sound in Flemington, NJ.  He emphasizes improvisation, reading, technique and musicianship. His experiences as a full time professional have influenced many of his students in starting their own musical ventures. Some of his students have gone onto music schools such as Berklee, The New School, Southern Cal, and Duquesne. In addition to teaching privately, Steve has conducted his own group clinics under the "Tri-State Guitar" moniker since 2004, and was on the Connecticut staff at The National Guitar Workshop from 2004-08
